These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of The Wonky Bee website, products, and services (“Site”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By visiting or purchasing from the Site, or submitting contact information, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Site. These Terms apply to users located in the United States only.

1. Eligibility and Service Use

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state.
  • You may not use our products or Site for illegal purposes or in violation of local, state, or federal law.
  • Use of the Site in violation of these Terms may result in termination of access.

2. Ordering, Billing, and Account Information

  • All product orders are subject to availability. Prices and availability may change without notice.
  • You must provide accurate billing, shipping, and contact information.
  • We may limit or cancel orders per person, household, or account at our discretion.

4. Disclaimer – Honey, Products, and Live Bees

4.1 Honey and General Products

  • Products may contain materials that could be hazardous if mishandled.
  • The Wonky Bee and its owners are not liable for personal injury, allergic reactions, or property damage from product use.
  • Products are handcrafted for recommended use only; they do not replace medical care or serve as treatment, cure, or prevention of disease.
  • Discontinue use immediately if irritation or allergy occurs.
  • Review ingredient lists to avoid allergens or items contraindicated during pregnancy or health conditions.
  • Honey should not be given to children under 1 year of age.
  • Product descriptions, testimonials, and ingredient information are for general information only and do not constitute medical advice.

4.2 Live Bees, Nucs, Queens, and Hives

  • Live honey bees, nucs, queens, and hives are sold as is and as available.
  • Survival, hive establishment, productivity, or queen acceptance cannot be guaranteed due to factors beyond our control, including weather, transportation stress, handling by carriers, genetics, environmental conditions at the customer’s apiary, and post-delivery care.
  • Customers assume all risks associated with keeping live bees, including allergic reactions or injury from stings.

Shipping and Delivery

  • Responsibility for live bees transfers to the customer once accepted by the carrier.
  • Customers must be available to receive live bees immediately. Failure to do so may result in loss, for which The Wonky Bee is not liable.
  • Delivery delays, temperature extremes, or mishandling by carriers are not the responsibility of The Wonky Bee.

Health and Handling

  • All bees are sourced from a fully inspected apiary using industry-standard pest and mite management methods.
  • Proper installation, feeding, management, and ongoing pest/disease control are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Customers should follow best management practices and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Improper care or neglect after delivery may result in loss or death of bees, for which The Wonky Bee is not liable.

No Guarantees or Warranties

  • Due to the biological nature of honey bees and the many environmental variables affecting colony development, The Wonky Bee does not guarantee colony survival, productivity, growth or honey production after transfer to the customer.
  • Live animal sales are final.

Assumption of Risk

  • By purchasing live bees, nucs, queens, or hives, you assume all risks, including injury, property damage, and loss of bees.
  • Customers are responsible for complying with all federal, state, and local regulations related to beekeeping.

No Medical or Veterinary Advice

  • Live bees, honey, or hive supplies are not medical or veterinary treatments. Consult a professional for allergies, health concerns, or bee management advice.

5. Accuracy and Updates

  • We strive for accurate product information but cannot guarantee images, colors, or descriptions.
  • We reserve the right to correct errors, update prices, discontinue products, or modify content at any time without notice.

6. User Conduct

You may not:

  • Upload viruses or malicious code
  • Use the Site for unlawful purposes
  • Infringe intellectual property rights
  • Submit false information or spam
  • Harass, abuse, or discriminate against others

Violation may result in termination of access.

  • Third-party tools or content may be included. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or actions.
